Since 1994 the Wichita Crime Commission, in partnership with the U.S. Drug  Enforcement Administration, U.S. Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Sedgwick County Sheriff, Wichita Police Department, U.S. Attorney and District    Attorney have produced the   most in-depth training program, of its kind, offered law enforcement officers in the entire Midwest.


Each year, for two and ½ days, more than 175 law enforcement officials from Kansas and surrounding states hear from some of the top criminal justice   instructors in the United States. Through 2006 the  conference has trained almost 1800 law enforcement officers statewide in the areas of gangs and drugs.

The 22nd annual conference is scheduled for June 6-8, 2016 and will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton Airport Hotel, 2908 Eisenhower Airport Pkwy, Wichita, KS. The hotel will provide discounted rooms for the conference at the rate of $129 per night.
