Campers get to enjoy a variety of experiences in tandem with Law Enforcement volunteers including:

  • Getting up close with firefighting, E.M.S., and law enforcement vehicles
  • Have a blast and cruise around on kayaks and pedal boats
  • Play kickball and dodge ball, pickle ball, kayaking, and mini golf
  • Witness the impressive skills of K-9 police units
  • Foster teamwork through engaging Team Building exercises like fishing
  • Gain gang awareness insight and learn self-defense techniques
  • Boost confidence with other self-esteem building activities
  • Financial literacy excercises

“We have different units participating. Often, the only time the kids see them is when something bad has happened. So, it’s very good for our people and the kids to interact with each other when it’s a positive thing.”
